Classic Westminster Walk

London is one of the great world cities, jam-packed with amazing buildings and iconic landmarks. I’m a born and bred London tour guide who enjoys providing commentary and anecdotes about all our tour stops and London’s historic sights.

Westminster is London’s 1000-year-old royal and political power base. This classic, private walking tour focuses on the big landmarks in Westminster: Buckingham Palace, St James’s Palace, Westminster Abbey, Houses of Parliament, Big Ben, Whitehall and Trafalgar Square.

We’ll walk the ‘royal route’ and stroll through a royal park. And we’ll come face-to-face with great Prime Ministers past and some men and women who resisted the political status quo and succeeded!

Grand buildings, great churches, royal palaces and beautiful green spaces surround us on this walk, right in the heart of central London.

We’ll also cover parts of the Changing the Guard ceremony at Buckingham Palace, on the days it’s taking place. This colourful military spectacle encompasses marching bands and guards, tradition and pageantry. Graham will guide you through some of its key moments if we tour when it’s on (Sunday, Monday, Wednesday, Friday).
